they have very similar strengths and styles of play. both have big arms, wildly inaccurate, great rush scrambling, and score a lot of rushing tds.

even their stats are very similar. if allen threw for 30 more yards a game on average, they'd be the exact same guy statistically 'cause their rushing yards and tds are about even

Looked it up because I was pretty sure Eli had one last year too and nope. Privs was 96.6 and Eli 94.4.

cam's career averages (which don't include the 2019 season at all): 59.6% completion rate, 232.3 yards per game, 22.75 passing tds per season, 13.37 ints per season, 600.75 rushing yards per season, 7.25 rushing tds per season

josh allens 2019 season: 59.3% completion rate, 205.4 yards per game, 18 passing tds (with 2 games to go), 9 ints (with 2 games to go), 467 rushing yards (with 2 games to go), 9 rushing tds (with 2 games to go)


quibble about it all you want but statistically they're the same guy. they're even the same height and weight.

No. He left out half of Josh Allen's career to date (i.e. his rookie season) to make his stats look more favorable

Idk why this is so difficult, you don't even have to dig hard to see why the comparison is an insult to Cam. Look at their career stats and it's simple. It's only close if you ignore half of Allen's career

tl;dr Josh Allen sucks. If he didn't have an incredible defense propping him up, he would be getting the Trubisky treatment
