I'm aware of Another Eden, I haven't gotten around to it, all my time gets sucked up by Opera Omnia which also doesn't play like a crappy cellphone game (at least, to me). It's the only mobile game I've been interested in enough to stick with and haven't put it down since the global version came out.

I wonder why some people don't like Octopath? (without story spoilers)

Well, on this list I only played Days Gone and Death Stranding, but I enjoyed the hell out of both of them. In the GotY thread, I mentioned Days Gone was my GotY, but wasn't on the poll, so I voted Death Stranding in that poll, which means by that same criteria, I should vote Death Stranding in this poll as well. I can't do that, though, because I enjoyed it.

So I voted Anthem, even though I didn't play it. Which seems kind of unfair, but still - it's Anthem.

God, I forgot, that shitty 2K wrestling game.

In a genre where you can just update the roster, add a couple new customization things, maybe include a few new commentary lines, and pretty much call it a "new game", this game managed to take a step back so far that this could be considered a downgrade if it were updating from the previous generation. Oh yeah, and there were all those ridiculous performance issues too.

NBA games are the same way. Every year features are stripped out and replaced with P2W/random lootbox mechanics with microtransactions. Seems to be the way the sports games are going. Monetize player/character/team progression.

This is honestly fine. The portion of the game I was able to play, after finally getting through the connection errors and various issues, was bland. Glad I didn't pay for it. Suspicions were further confirmed by every streamer I watched play it.

Unfortunately Division 2 was also bad. I liked Division 1 for a while and they made some decent changes to the system as development went on.

Division 2 I heard made a lot of good improvements but once people reached endgame I stopped hearing good things and eventually I forgot the game even came out. I’ve heard nothing from it since. I did want to play it at some point, wonder how it’s doing.
