Insane that a running back could make this much of a difference.

And like, Jamaal Williams' stats aren't that bad, 4.3 YPA (29th out of 47 players with 100+ carries), 39 catches on 45 targets with 5 TDs (tied for second in receiving TDs for anyone with 100+ rushing attempts).

I bet Wayne, Steve Hutchinson, and Bruce make it this go-around.

There was 3 or 4, cant really think of their names. Will probably see Bruce, Holt, Polamalu, and maybe Wayne for sure get in.

Per other sources, ESPN is making this up. I'm not even joking.

    https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...-or-not-fired/
"Maybe it’s just an effort at redemption after Saturday’s swing and a miss regarding Jaguars coach Doug Marrone. Regardless, ESPN has taken a tweet from ESPN’s Ed Werder and turned it into a big splash that the Cowboys are firing Jason Garrett. Even if that’s not what Werder tweeted."
    https://www.dallasnews.com/sports/co...ever-happened/
"In Thursday’s paper, the DMN stated, “there are no indications that Garrett will be retained’’ and went on to report his “status will likely be resolved before the week is done.’’
Meanwhile, Garrett reported to The Star on Thursday for a regular workday. According to a source, Garrett did not meet with team owner and general manager Jerry Jones or executive vice president Stephen Jones.
The three men met twice earlier this week to discuss the direction of a franchise that finished 8-8 in 2019.
For now, Garrett will conduct any remaining exit interviews with players and coaches and eventually talk again to the Joneses about his future.
It’s a future on hold until an official conclusion is reached."

I've lived in Dallas for over a decade now and I'll just say that even though I'm not a native I have been here long enough to know Jerry is going to keep this media circus going until the day the contract ends.

But the media is going to keep jumping on any tiny crumb they can because it's the Cowboys and they can't help themselves.

Troy may get in due to a weak class, but the guy is not a first ballot HOFer. That would put him in Ed Reed territory and he simply isn’t close and I don’t even have to look at any stats as I don’t care what they are.

It would also be an absolute disgrace that someone like TO wasn’t a 1st ballot and Troy was.

ed reed is widely considered the greatest safety ever. if that's your bar, aint no safety allowed in the hall first ballot ever again

troy was listed among the names considered for the nfl 100. he didn't get in, but he was considered. that is first ballot stuff.
shit polamalu has more super bowls, pro bowls, first team all pros, and second team all pros than earl thomas and thomas will be a first ballot guy

Mertron you forgot to make a pick for the last week >.<

Looking at your entry it would've been a tough call for week 17 so would not have been a guaranteed win anyway

Ya. Not to mention the impact he had on games. You wanna throw away stats? Good. He was exceptionally gifted physically, had great first instincts (most of the time *cough*), and most importantly was completely unpredictable and allowed to be.

You never really knew what the hell he was going to do on any play. He wreaked havoc without even making a tackle simply by stalking around pre-snap and forcing bad decisions. It was hilarious to watch at times.
