sounds like the browns are hiring stefanski
sounds like i should have hit refresh first
McDaniels blackballed himself from a HC position lol.
Julian Edelman arrested for misdemeanor vandalism after jumping on a Mercedes in Beverly Hills
that's Super Bowl MVP Julian Edelman to you sir
Not sure how a RB being hit from behind compares to a 6'6" managing to spear a diving QB with the crown of his helmet. That's as unnatural a tackling motion as you'll see
I have way more sympathy for the hits where DBs are rushing in for the hit and receiver ducks, causing helmet to helmet contact

What's the point of defending dirty tackles anyway? When it's egregious like that and clear that a normal tackle will do the job just fine, why defend it?
Exciting players get injured and we get to watch Josh McCown instead. Yippee. At least we got to see a big hit amirite

this is what a dirty hit is:
clowney was in the air long before wentz was on the ground. he's coming from the side trying to stop the dude with the ball from getting more yardage. he was just playing football as far as i'm concerned.
Yeah, I just don't see the Clowney play as dirty, at all. With how easily the NFL tosses flags/fines, its a big statement that neither occurred. Fine play.
chris jones inactive today
didn't even know he was hurt
If you think it's natural to tackle with your head pointed downward at that severe of an angle then idk what to tell you.
"See what you hit" is tackling 101
I'm not necessarily ascribing malice to Clowney either, but that hit is dirty and terrible form. In either scenario it should be corrected because it leads to injuries for BOTH sides

another way of saying it is that he's leading with his shoulder... cause he is
Oh is that why his helmet makes contact first?

i can lead with my fist and hit you with my head first, moving targets make for those kind of circumstances. clowneys shoulder is the first part of his body that's moving downward. if he really wanted to lead with head he wouldn't have twisted his body to get his shoulder down like that at all. and tackling with your shoulder is a common thing in football
If Dak was tackled like that on every play would you be cool with it?
Because we can argue intent all day but ultimately I want good players to stay healthy so I can watch them
Leading with your shoulder (especially on a guy that's diving wtf) is bad form. See what you hit, wrap up, etc
