i love Mahomes like the son that keeps getting aborted but this is wack. Jimmy G is a caretaker and Mahomes can win any one game gunslinging but SF is the far more complete team everywhere but QB. still don't trust the KC defense at all tbh keep getting blown up by mediocre offenses in the first half before they right the ship.

This. I wouldn't go so far as to say Jimmy G is a caretaker, as they have leaned on him in clutch situations...but that defense and ground game. Idc who's at QB or who the fuck they're playing. That's a hell of a mountain to climb.

Yeah, the best way to beat Mahomes is to just not give him a chance to beat you. Niners absolutely have the ability to chew the clock up with their run game, and the Niners whole defense is schemed around pressure with just their front four.

That said, if there's been one weakness for this defense when it's been healthy, it's mobile QB's like Mahomes. Especially if it's paired with a strong run game like Baltimore and Arizona.
