Lack of matchup knowledge is a big big big thing with him right now. Except for the guy who won my pool (Stupendous) every single person I played bitched about not knowing the matchup since he hasn't even been out for a month.

His offensive is suffocating as fuck, but he also legitimately has the worst defensive options in the entire game. Outside of universal options his only defensive tool is yoloing with SA1, which has 10 frame startup so it gets beaten by meaty pressure.

A lot of it is definitely a matchup knowledge. I still point blank just chuck up a psycho abortion cuz most people still don’t realize it crosses up.

And even then most people still have no clue how to punish scissors. You don’t even have to space it right at lower levels lol. People just flat out accept it’s safe when it’s not.

OD Psycho should probably not be safe on block, and blocked backfist with a mine planted does excessive amounts of drive gauge damage.

But otherwise it's honestly just matchup knowledge imo.
