Capcom randomly decided to update UMvC3 on PC.

The update broke Phoenix so she can't go dark, removed the Kubota escape and a few other random glitches, and obviously broke any mods people were using.

Update reverted they still fully intend to update the game and break all mods though don't worry.

They did basically swap the timing between Evo and CEO this year, but I feel that's more on you just not actually caring about this stuff.

That said, attendance is absolutely down for Evo this year. Though that prolly has more to do with everything else going on in the world (World Cup and the political climate in the US) than Evo itself

Fwiw, 2XKO is opening on Sunday and the game is in a really good spot after the most recent update, I'd definitely recommend watching.

Vegas is just too expensive for EVO now.

I'd have been going if I hadn't moved at the beginning of the month. But a trip to Vegas (where we'd certainly be staying at Fontainebleau again for like 300 a night) combined with all the costs from moving in the same month is a bit much.

Evo has absolutely lost its luster as it gets more corporate, but it's still a great time and an easy excuse to go to Vegas.
