I thought the game was honestly quite fun, but they clearly completely missed the mark making an active tag fighter for a game supposedly marketed to casuals.

The refund is nice tho, I bought a few skins and a battle pass

Yes and no, the game actually had really good numbers it seems from a FGC perspective, but that's not what riot wanted, they wanted league or Val like numbers cause they are retarded like that. If you read the press release, they clearly just wanted to kill this game and probably only released it cause that was the deal they made with Radiant when they brought them on.

Gotta hope Sony/Arcsys fix the PC version of Tokon here soon otherwise it's gonna be another tag fighter added to the pile with 2XKO/Invincible Vs/HxH. But that will likely have some legs solely because of the size of the companies involved and being a Marvel game. Related, Tokon got cracked a couple days ago and the cracked version runs WAY better than the legit version.

15 more years of UMvC3 here we go

Apparently the PC version being so ass is entirely the PS integration and that the cracked version of the game runs way better. Which is both hilarious and sad at the same time. Sony just fucks up everything.

From what I read it was more specifically Theia DRM they put into the game. It forces the game to continually decrypt assets leading to the heavy cpu usage and lag spikes every time it has to load up new assets (stage transition, some level 2/3 supers, etc)
