There's some notes about balance changes coming out from the Akuma location test in Japan.

The biggest one is drive reversal can now be used on wakeup and is slightly safer on block (-6 instead of -8), so everyone now has access to an invincible (albeit slow) wakeup option

Speaking of balance changes, in the Tekken 8 patch notes Zafina had a move changed from +2 on hit to +22, and another changed on block from -7 to +6. The changes make sense but on paper they look hilarious
