Whats a good melee build for someone like me? I like to be fast and be able to dodge. I'm thinking Dual Blades or SnS. Thoughts?

If it takes 40 minutes to kill something in multiplayer in this game then someone is doing something very, very wrong.

The fastest and most mobile melee weapons are IG and DB, with SnS being right behind. IG is obviously way ahead in mobility with being able to move through the air as well, but it's honestly not far ahead of lance for damage, and a pain to play as well with all of the gearing requirements and constant kinsect upkeep during the fight.

I was going to give IG a go but yeah the upkeep does seem annoying. Either way I'm good with Lance/LBG for now. May get back into DBs in the future.

Also, I understand Bow Skills. are there any skills that are like, best use for DS or armour I should be getting? I'm thinking of making my first pair of DS Raging Brachy because I enjoy pain.

Started to get back into DBs and loving them. Still a bit trigger happy and button mashing triangle instead of waiting to see if I have an opening.

Man, playing Bow Vs DS is weird. I never really prioritized Earplugs as Bow cause 95% of the time, it never hit me, being upfront, wow, are they needed. Also, not sure about other weapons but DS gets ragged dolled so fucking much. Also, I don't like Sharpness. Bow never needs to sharpen. Its great.

And the reason for my complete lack of skill in any other weapon. I've been using ONLY bow for about 13 years. Since Monster Hunter Freedom Unite 2. I have not touched another weapon. And bow was never that great of a weapon back then.

DBs can be a bit tricky since it is easy to get trigger happy with your 3 hit combo.
