Speaking of HBGs what are the best ammos that work with them? I only know they can't rapid fire (which is what I focus on with LBG) so curious what I should use if I craft them.

Burstcannon - Spread 3 (if you're crafting Loyal Thunder is best craftable Spread 3 gun)
Snipecannon - Pierce 3 (best craftable i think is the Viper Kadachi)
Furious Rajang - Normal 3 and SWC (Sticky/Wyvern/Cluster), technically speaking these two require different augments tho. For right now I'm just being lazy and dropped Resentment out of the meta build for Normal (which is only 2 points of it anyways) and just running with the health augment used on sticky build. All around tho, the Furious Rajang HBG is fucking BUSTED for both of these builds, it's recoil/reload stats are obscene

And then whatever support ammo the gun has and you want to use.

Zorah is also a good SWC gun. It generally outperforms the Furious Rajang in all categories except for the one that truly matters, which is recoil/reload on Sticky 3.

Man, I know I keep seeming like an easily amused idiot but I just got my few Safi weapon and have been playing with it. Holy customization batman.

its both a blessing and a curse. on one hand having a million safi weapons to fit the million various play styles you want to be using is cool. on the other hand you can get in the rut of not killing other monsters in the game because you keep upgrading new safi weapon

Made the Raging Brachy bow and this is pretty fun. It's nice to have a general use bow finally instead of just having to constantly change elements for every single monster, especially in the guiding lands. Don't quite have all the slot 4 decorations to make it fully work yet, but working on it.

I’ve recommended this a few times and have yet to see someone suggest something better or easier but if you do Flora Frostbite with max Botanist, you can start and finish it in under 1 minute and get anywhere from 1-5 4 slot gems. A lot of time mixed with good skills. I like to use my Kirin set it aswell. I get 1 Golden Egg every time I do a quest with it on and if you spam Frostbite, it’s easy to get hundreds for cash.

That’s my suggestion anyways. If someone suggested something better I’d switch to it cause the loading times are the worst part of it but I just put on a show and auto pilot that for an hour or two.

much like in base where mysterious feystones cannot become most of the jewels you actually want, ancient feystones also cannot become a bunch of the jewels you actually want. flora frostbite only drops ancient feystones.

I'm not sure what exactly is limited but I have gotten Rarity 11 Gems, I just got 4 11s, being Blast attack +4 and some others.

you can't get rarity 12 gems from flora frostbite. same with the rare rarity 11s like critical boost/vitality, tenderizer/vitality, release/vitality, hard (insert element) resistance, etc

I'm not trying to say its the bestest event for all Endgame decos, I'm just saying its a decent place to get some easy decos that aren't complete crap compared to the amount of effort required.

So do just need to be aware of where the rocks are when it comes time for Safis supernova? Ive carted a few times because I couldn't find a rock to hide behind.

Yes. They'll be marked on your minimap as a yellowish icon. You'll also know if you're safe when your controller stops vibrating. However there are some cases where Safi will do 2 novas in quick succession on the 3rd floor without any rocks to hide behind.

Also speaking of Safi, I got my blast lance with 1 Regen and 2 Affinity augmentation. Is Defense/Elemental Boost 1 worth it since I can't level up/unlock anything else since I only have 1 spare augment slot?

you might as well. you can just take the parts back if you want to change the augment in the future anyway

dont go out of your way if you dont have the parts though. neither is a particularly great upgrade

Thought as much. I'd have to farm Tempered Ruiner for the last slot unlock then whatever. Guess I'll focus on my guns next.
