Do you need that though? lol
A lot of that stuff is just in-game as well. You don't even need damage numbers but it's nice so you don't have to research MV for effective attacks with your weapon.
Hit a thing and it falls over, eventually it dies or you capture it.
It’s not really needed. Just one of those personal things I like doing. Like, when I get bored, I make my own area maps and mark the best locations on it for things.
There's no set answer because monster hp varies based on it's size, hence the percentage based answers for everything.
The most important thing you can do fighting kulve (and any monster) is send her flying into a wall at every opportunity.
So what makes augmented Kluve weapons so good? Just asking since I tried the fight again and fuck whoever said it can be done solo. DPS checks are never a fun mechanic
unless you play a few specific weapons kulve weapons probably aren't better than safi or lightbreaker
Lance/LBG is what I use but the fight is hell with both of them. Lance because you're a turtle and LBG is easy to get one shot on making it hard to wound parts for breaking.
EDIT: For clarity I tried the following LBGs - Blacking II for Pierce/Sticky, Safi Thunder, and Safi Dark specialized for Spread 3.
Lance Safi is still best I believe. LBG Taroth support is now best.
What makes them good is generally higher damage with the same or slightly less element. However since they come with a free Crit element which is 1.35 damage they can use x5 Safi armor to basically not used Crit eye and boost element even further which ends up being more than True crits 1.5 damage.
Taroth support is just crazy high damage without changing it's previous good ammo stats.
For the record you don't need to break parts on this one. Just doing damage is enough to shed her. As LBG just focus on her horns the whole time. Also drop the rock in area 2 for a free KO and extra damage. From what I hear sticky spam is good on her.
I've been using Safi Snipecannon set up for pierce 3 with Raging/Furious mixed set. Gun is augmented for attack, and has 2-3 shields with guard 5 and guard up. You can literally just sit and wait if you get caught in the fire pool, and it does pretty ridiculous damage to her, especially if you're piercing through the chest.
Breaking parts isn't necessary, but the rarest drop can be gotten from the little gold piles you get when you do, or carved from the gold horn coating. When her coat glows from attacking the chest you should definitely knock a few chunks off.
Things I just learned.
Brightmoss removes namille water puddles.
the notes tell you that...
Today I learned that Brightmoss absorbing Namielles water puddles is in the notes!
i never pay attention to that shit either so dont feel bad
There an ideal quest for farming up dash extracts? I'm burning through them like a madman. Is there also some trick to getting Tobi Kadachi shards? I get thickfur by the truckload whenever i try to farm it up.
Not to my knowledge. What I would recommend, if you’re able to, is get your dash drinks from the Melder. Not sure if you have access to them but those super easy gathering events that give tickets trade to the Melder for like 100 points per. So, if you have an assload of tickets from something that you have all of or don’t need, throw tickets at it.
That’s just my opinion on it cause instead of farming a mob for like 1-3 dash extracts, just get like 100 if you’re swimming in extra shit. However, I am often wrong so there could very well be a better way.
Don't even need the event tickets, though any you have extra of work nicely. Steam tickets from steamworks are 1:1 on most items and you can easily get several hundred pretty quickly with the 10x run depending on your fuel. I only use mega demon/armor now because they're so easy to get.
I mentioned tickets because he’s still going through the game and might have less disposable materials than most.
arch tempered namielle is arguably easier than tempered namielle and fights exactly the same. the armour would only be good for bow
Wasn't too bad but that thunder dive it does after covering the area in water hurts like a bitch to block
Hurts way more if you don't, I promise. Instantly killed me with 200 health, 1050 defense and 20 thunder, 20 water resist on LBG. Yay for being able to quickly sheathe and dive I guess.
