Once again, fuck VIP tickets.

Also, I've been cleaning up the Arch Tempered elders, getting 6x tickets so I have enough for the old y armor and the layered version. Just Xenojiva and Teostra left, and Teo has another week in rotation after the event.
Finished Ancient Leshen as well, no luck with Behemoth EX as of yet.

Never tried EX Behemoth before. Fighting the regular was enough of a chore for me.

Though yeah I think I got everything minus the bunny ears.

Just need to wear the event outfit and run Flora Frostbite. Start at the 4th? camp (Should be whatever the North East camp is), run out of the cave to the left, and just gather the ice plants there. Takes like 30 seconds.

I think I also used the charm that speeds up gathering and bring Ghillie Mantle since Barioth sometimes wanders around there.

yeah i've done it for the other festivals. assassins hood for increased run speed with botanist/geologist/master gatherer/intimidator/stealth/coldproof. shits just boring

VIP tickets aren't that bad honestly. I farmed all of the new gear the day the event came out and other than that have only done daily limited bounties, and I got the 5 for the set 2-3 days into the event.

This is why I spread out my grinding over the event this time.
The past week has been just getting 2 tickets a day for the pendants and stop, then ANY fucking thing else than ticket grinding.

Frostfang is super duper easy.

First try zero faints with Alatreon LBG (Fire Ammo).

His frost breath is interesting. Ignores blocking and makes you stagger.

And ignores Longsword parry, you get the ding, but then the frost on the ground freezes you.

But yeah, it's a pushover, not crazy like the Raging Brachydios fight.

Frostfangis is pure joke. I beat him less than 5 minutes.

I just used LBG. Double wall slam, sleep, Wall slam, sleep, Wall slam, para, stun, traps etc.

At least the armor is good.

helm and gloves are the pieces that matter. and unless you're using a 2 set and a 3 set, you should probably use one of those items for punishing draw

I need to recheck the armor stats. Was thinking of the body for the attack bonus but if the other pieces are good may rearrange my Teostra armor bonus parts.

And yeah I tried the fight again with LBG and wasted him. He really is a long range fight unless you're good at getting out of the way of the frost breath.

Or are tanked to hell and back. Hooray for fully upgraded Kulve armor.

Messing around with a hammer slugger secret build with the new set. I don't use slugger enough to tell if it's making a difference or not but it's something different.

Slugger in general isn't really worth it except for a Sticky Shot build (there's usually better skills to fit in there), and they're not gonna want to use the set.
