I forgot how much of a pain in the ass Furious was with lance. I might try again with LBG but afraid I'll run out of ammo.

Anything I should be concerned about from Rajang? World/Iceborne Rajang kinda feels easy to me compared to when I was doing generations, so I'm sure it being tempered is gonna surprise me with something. Still no goddamn golden rathian surspike for the body and it's driving me a little mad. 5/5 Safi puts me in a ton of danger that's is going to backfire on me hard whenever i don't have regen augs on a weapon.

PSA but the Tempered Kushala event started earlier this week. 3x Sealed Feystones guaranteed.

Also a camp you can go back to if you get KOed/use a farcaster to restock on ammo/items. Better fight, but not by much because fuck those tornadoes.

Hold on? The handler could have gotten off her ass and fought this entire fucking time?!
AT Nami is my new bane right now. It might really be the point where I convert to an LBG.

AT Nami is fucking awful as LBG. Probably the worst fight in the game to use it honestly.

How bad is it? I only tried AT Nami once on lance and that fight is nasty.

She's pretty easy as lance compared to LBG, but if you want to use ranged I'd say sticky HBG w/ high guard and guard up would be the way to go. The dive ult tell is pretty quick and it's easy to get stuck in an animation and fail to finish recoil, sheathe and dive before it hits with LBG. Hard to keep the wings softened as well with LBG if you're using ele shot, and it does shit for damage without being weakened with claw. Melee won't usually do her wings because they're on forelegs and head.

I guess I'd better relearn how to Gsword or just get better at dual blades. AT Nami hits so hard that I just run in and out constantly to avoid its aoe moves/spam.

I tried GS once. Definitely not my thing.

Only things that I feel good with are lance/lbg. Tried SnS/HBG but blech.

As a guy that vastly prefers playing DBs, GS is honestly drastically more powerful and way more flexible. DBs is still way more fun to play tho

I'm sure the second least flexible weapon does feel more flexible than the least flexible weapon.

I'm talking in terms of equipment efficiency. You can't even use DBs unless you have either masters touch, protective polish, or want to spam whetfish fin+'s all day long because you'll be in green sharpness before the monster even leaves the area.

With GS I can roll with a white sharpness weapon and won't even sniff blue by the time it's dead. From that standpoint you can very easily throw whatever damn armour you want on and it won't negatively effect your kill speed. In fact you can add more skills that would positively effect your kill speed if you want to, or defensive skills, or whatever. That isn't the same thing with DBs. You're pigeon-holed into a lot less build options, and I hadn't talked about critical element yet.
