The NFL's advantage is that it's only 16 games.

But they can't "safely" practice or play, and the teams are gigantic. Way too many vectors.

the nfl has the benefit of having large practice squads and having a "next man up" mentality built into it unlike other sports that are more star driven.

the only true detriment to your team is if your starting qb gets it, or you literally can't field a roster

Warmack was a top 10 overall pick not that long ago though. It isn't far fetched that he could land a backup role making significantly more. There are some really horrible backup lineman in the league. His ceiling is at least higher than a handful out there.
