i dont remember this being brought up but the saints players and coaching staff have been living in their own team bubble since the start of august and now the cowboys are doing the team bubble thing too. essentially both teams live at the team facility and never leave. its technically voluntary to appease the player union but it sounds like the saints and cowboys wont keep players on the final 53 unless they join the team bubbles

Yea, but if a couple players arent bubbling and still interacting with the rest of the team, it defeats the purpose. (I dont know if thats happening, just saying)

yeah i've heard the saints are at 100% in the bubble atm and cowboys are at 90ish%. i think thats why the threats of not making the team are there and they're probably true. once the team cuts start you can simply cut all the dudes that didn't wanna be about that life regardless if the player union complains or not. you can just say the guy didnt fit the scheme or whatever. the major thing is getting your stars on board
