I personally don't think there will be a season. I don't think anything is going back to "normal", until there is a vaccine. Sure as hell hope I'm wrong, and I'll even take games without fans.

I know just being in the events world, every event sector is going off a few different date strategies:

July administrative preparation for an Aug events start up
Sept administrative preparation for an Oct events start up
Dec administrative preparation for a Jan events start up

I know lots of different business sectors are preparing this way and you just roll with the punches as they come.

Related to the Giants, given where they mistakenly drafted Barkley, his contract is going to topple this one and they will be stuck with the highest paid RB on the books.
