but I do know that he's black and you hate him lol

lol
but seriously though, you can’t really love the pick, can you? especially trading up?
what did they give up anyway. i missed that
I dunno, Rodgers is going to turn 38 during this upcoming season (2021). Knowing nothing about Love it's hard to form an opinion. A couple pre-draft QB ratings had him 3rd above Herbert, so...who knows? He'll have 16 months of off-season to get better before even being the backup, seems good for a high-ceiling/low-floor guy I guess?
Apparently Rodgers' contract situation makes it impossible to get rid of him until 2023 at the earliest, otherwise the cap hits are gigantic. That seems to make this a worse decision, although I don't know how the lack of a 2020 season plays into contracts like that.
he's the kind of prospect that 100% has to sit for a year or two before you can think about throwing him out there. i dunno if that's worth a first round pick, sounds more like a day 2 guy, but there it is
So after all that madness, do the Niners even have a pick until the fifth round now?

I HATE drafting for positional need, and I also hate drafting CBs for a team perennially desperate for pass rush help. I'd have preferred Chaisson or even Lamb given Julio's age
ESPN had this scrub as their #51 overall player. That's a disgusting reach. The position you draft is irrelevant if the player isn't good.
I'm not getting my hopes up anyway with Quinn still directing things so it's moot. I'm all aboard the Joe Burrow Benjals bandwagon

chaisson is the aj terrell of the edge prospects. crazy physical tools without any college production. it's the same pick but at a different position
lamb i can agree with.
The difference is his production was mostly limited by injuries early in his career and he showed out in the big games. He was also playing tough competition every week versus Clemson's cupcake schedule. They finally play a good team in LSU and Chase roasted him all night
I'm also gonna side with the expert rankings when they have Chaisson as the #16 prospect vs Terrell at #52. I'd rather take a boom or bust edge rusher than a CB that... might be startable someday? You could say that every year though. You'd have to imagine they had a high grade on Love to be worth grabbing him over a playmaker. If they are stuck with Rodgers for 3+ more years though then I agree

you can easily go to 5 other websites and find him as a top 20-25 pick. cbs had him at 25. kiper and jeremiah both had him going within the top 20. it's pretty silly to get heated because of a single websites opinion when there's so little consensus on the cb grading. i've read terrell is the 3rd best cb prospect by a ton of different people.
excluding lamb being available, there was very little consensus on the players left on the board by anybody. should be more mad they didn't try to move down
this pick keeps getting better and better
I'm pretty annoyed at Jags first pick but I'm happy with our #20. Fucking CB for first pick? Really? Over literally anyone 300lbs+ who plays somewhere on the offensive line?
Love isn't going to start for at least two years unless Rodgers has another freak injury. It was absolutely a dumb pick when your team won 13 games last year and you were only one game away from the super bowl. Instead of drafting a play-maker to help push you over that threshold you grab a back-up QB project lol.
i thought both the jags picks were better than what the titans did so i dunno why you're celebrating
