Mother fucker you know the answer. Intermitent fasting needs to be atleast 14hrs (for me anyway) before your body starts to break down fats for energy. Ideally and what I plan on doing when begin my HCG/Test/Cardarine Cut in a month or two, is going to be eating from 11am till 6pm and then nothing outside of that time frame. So essentially I'll be going 7pm to 11am without caloric intake. that's 16hrs of 'fasting'. What's going to hella suck is getting 2200 calories in in that 8ish hour window. Including 2 protein shakes at 50g's of protein each, that's still like 1800 calories to account for.... which with HCG and Cardarine is gonna be a bitch to hit, cause HCG kills your appetite, and Cardarine tells your body to burn fat for energy.
But yeah... skipping breakfast doesn't account for the discipline on the back end. I usually get in bed around 8pm, but sometimes, here in afghanistan something will cause me to work till 9 or 10. normally even while watching calories, It wouldn't matter If I ate 400cals of protein at 9pm...but that effectively chops 2 hours off of my fast, putting me at 14...
