That's exactly why I'm not substantially changing my routine unless I show symptoms. I see avoiding transmission as futile for myself so I might as well get it over with. The important part is making sure that you avoid infecting others. Obviously I'm still going to practice good hygiene and avoid contaminating things beyond a certain point but if the inevitable is me having to deal with this I would rather deal with it now than later.

So stockpiling food and supplies is useless, other than you won't need to go to the store when you're showing symptoms.

I for sure hope so for others, like dual income households that are paycheck to paycheck and work jobs that no doubt will be affected by this. For us, my wife may end up working more which means a lot more income because of overtime. We'll survive, even if it's a ramen life.
