Someone explain to me the weekly reward limit like I’m five. Is it that the first thing I lot on is automatically mine if I haven’t used it yet?

You only get one piece per raid per week of whatever the current raid tier is, which currently, is 9-12. You are lotting against everyone else. Some people will strategically lot only the things they want and pass on others so if they don’t get that piece they can keep trying. Body and leg pieces require four tokens, while head hands and feet require 2, belts and right side accessories require 1 each.

You also get 1 weapon piece per week from the final raid, currently takes 7 pieces to complete the weapon.

The lower tier raids are totally open, you can get as much loot as you want. Eventually, this current tier will get that treatment as well.

Same goes for the 24 man alliance raid. You are locked to one piece per week on the current tier, while the lower tiers are free for all.

In my experience if you just tell people you are new they won’t grief you, they’ll give you tips or heads up on what to look out for. But if you don’t say anything and YOLO and get people killed they are not too happy.

Some people are pretty cool when I tell them “first time here.” The second tank will usually volunteer to MT if I’m on my GNB, or on RDM or BRD someone will put up the little dpad symbol over their character to follow them.

O8S has God Kefka (with even more Dancing Mad)
O12S has a kind of Ultima Weapon Omega

E4S is actually just more Titan.
E8S has Shiva & Hraesvalver merge.
E12S has Gaia (during which The Extreme plays)

There are no leeches in current Savage tiers, if one person is fucking up you ain’t clearing it. That will change with level cap increase when Endwalker drops though probably.

You are having the big meeting in Ala Mhigo with all the nation leaders and Gaius shows up and is like HEY I NEED YOUR HELP, it splits off from MSQ into side content at that point.
