I haven't done a single thing all day teleworking lol.

Apparently YouTube has free movies. They are mostly all terrible. I’m watching Journey To The West and it’s hilariously bad.
Chow hall's closed on Bagram. Gym closed also. Only 10 people allowed In the BX at a time, so a giant line of 40-50 people formed outside...
If the number of infected needing in hospital care is accurate at 20%, Bagram AB is in for a world of hurt if the outbreak finally gets here.
Even the one on Disney?
I can't imagine the amount of cabin fever dudes are gonna get over there with everything shutdown lol. RIP Salsa nights.
Yup all chow hall's, and the MWR and USO
Only saving grace is having a gym on our compound, so I can still get my sweat on.
My unit still isn't restricting anything. Seems moderately insane for the CDC to be recommending no groups over 50 and then we jam 150 people every workday into a boat 378 feet long with recycled ventilation.
But whatever I'm not an officer I can't make these kind of decisions.
Speaking of which, there's a confirmed case with a sailor on the USS Boxer.
I didn't realize NY had like 1/3 of the COVID cases.
My county had 2 at the end of last week, 4 is what my coworker told me this morning, and 7 is what the news is reporting.
I'm still freezing my ass off in my office because all the windows are open.
You fuck ass sailors would refer to it as the NEX or some shit
It’s the fucking PX you POGs.
CGX.
Or you know just call it the exchange and move on with life.
Also lol @ people trying to transfer right now.
We have a dude who starting terminal leave this week (last day was Thursday) and he's not allowed to leave now, plus a bunch of people who had schools scheduled that now are stuck in Seattle.
Damn that's fucked up. I would be livid if they messed with my terminal leave. Especially if the dude already has a bunch of things lined up already like a job.
Coast Guard hasn't gone full restriction like DoD has, but they won't let anyone transfer/go on leave/etc if you're in a hotspot.
And since we're in King County, he and a lot of other people are fucked, especially with primary transfer season for the Coast Guard kicking in soon. I think current restrictions are "only" up to May 11th, but I could definitely see them getting dragged out.
I'm currently due to transfer end of July but who the fuck knows. I'm still gonna pull the trigger and use my military clause to break my lease then, but I mind end up couch crashing for who knows how long if there's still any kind of restriction
