remember when English was so olde it was another language
a gross German one too
Where was this rage when Russia sent USA medical supplies?
https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...supplies-to-us
I cant find any source of the equipment shipped to USA being defective. I found a couple sources that stuff sent to Italy was defective, but tbh that place was such a shitshow, they could have already been infected then cry foul when the incubation period passed.
Think it was in the article Demo posted earlier that the equipment shipped to the US was from a blacklisted manufacturer whose ventilators caused fires.in Russian hospitals.
I like how supposedly smart people are acting like the only country we sent aid/ventilators to was russia and of all things to criticize about our response and orange retard leader this is what you have chosen to focus on. 4 years later and still with the muh russia. If the US discovers a vaccine and sends to the rest of the world will you also be mad? Should the russians get it last?
the day any of you show consistent values without thought for affiliations and tribes and teams is the day i eat my shorts
shorts tartare
but without taking the piss conservatives would have shot blood out of every orifice if Obama had sent medical aid abroad while there was even the vaguest whisper of domestic shortages, liberals would have hailed him as a hero that just wanted to save lives and derided any criticism as callous immorality
I think part of it is that we've been beat over the head for months that we don't have enough ventilators, and at least personally, I never saw news that said otherwise.
If you don't know the current status, you would think we're still short and sending any of them out would seem like a bad call
i dont think we were ever that short on them, fake news
while there certainly was a shortage initially it appears largely taken care of as ventilator production has exploded and ventilator demand has decreased (both because the pandemic is below its peak and because doctors are increasingly unsure of the efficacy of them to treat COVID-19 patients), and given we'll have produced 100,000 new ones in a month or two the 200 to Russia won't make much of a difference either way. we'll prolly be shipping thousands and thousands abroad in the months to come.
Yeah I saw that article.
I was trying to explain where some of the outrage may have been coming from.
oh yeah the optics are terrible. but at heart the burger is mostly nothing.
