did they extend the unemployment bonus also?
did they extend the unemployment bonus also?
"The HEALS Act also features $1.75 billion for the design and construction of a new FBI headquarters. GOP legislators said that was a request directly from the President -- and some of them aren't fully on board with its inclusion in the bill."

evictions + school situation + retard president + bad 4th quarter for retail incoming = dark times ahead boys
One of my coworkers is a die hard Trumper/anti mask whacko. She knows three people who have died from COVID and her son in his early 20s has also gotten the virus. But she is still anti-mask and thinks it’s all a conspiracy against Trump. Bitch is you serious
it is a crazy time to be alive
I'd rather be working for $90/hr but the 10k in extra federal unemployment, 1k from the business grant and $3900 family stimulus (hopefully x2) is a decent consolation prize.
Problem is I have no idea when I will be able to work again and $477/week in UI sucks way more than $877/week did.
I understand why though. A lot of the people on unemployment won’t have a job to go back to and may be out of work for an extended period of time and need that to get by.
But there are also the people who don’t need that much but aren’t gonna turn it down, because who would?
The answer to this would be to actually pay people a fucking living wage in the first place.
youd be a retard to find a job when you can make more doing nothing (until the bonus runs out and you are jobless and panic sets in) and who could blame anyone for being envious of furloughed employees that got a raise, in some cases an extreme raise. these states should have fixed their fuckin UI systems in the last 4 months so we could implement some basic cost of living type calculations, so we can extend the amount of help people receive before the money printer breaks
im sure everyone here is mad af we didnt shut down and lay everyone off for months too, we didnt cut anybody's pay but most of them dont make $21.50 an hour :s
we did fire one guy during this but that was because he never cleaned the bathroom when it was his week
and apparently politicians are literally unable to write a bill without loading up billions of dollars in tacked on shit not even related to the issue at hand. sick world.
For the first one, based on 2018, we were making $155k or something like that.
