Felt a little surreal. Like something you'd see in a game or movie.

Ironic you should say that because I saw one of those similar signs driving home and thought the exact same thing.

china didn't lock anything down until their hospitals were already completely overrun and 50k+ people already had the virus inside their borders. every other nation, not named italy, had already started shutting things down long before china and italy were already overrun

Just got a text alert that our daughter's daycare is closing as of COB tomorrow. Combine that with our sitter for Mon/Wed self-quarantining due to a compromised immune system from juvenile cancer and my office just sending an email about setting up remote work it looks like I'll be joining the WFH crew.
