It's a long story but at the core of it they were getting ready to have kids and then after spending Thanksgiving with my older brother and his twins decided to take a vacation instead and by the time COVID hit it was too late to cancel.

I was having an insomniatic episode and got an email about a flight I was taking to L.A basically next weekend from Delta about changing my flight.

My ticket was originally non-refundable but I got an option to get my money back and I don't think I ever button mashed so hard to accomplish that.
