I'm not sure what union or shop you work in/with, but union workers can be laid off. They normally have some compensation and language in their union agreements that allows layoffs during times like this and they will be able to collect unemployment afterwards.

We have a water main contract with the City of New York a well as gas main and service installations with Con Ed. Both were shut down despite being utilities.

It's also NYC, the hot spot for the country, so there's that factor.

I realize I'm in the minority but 12 is probably my favourite story of all the FFs. It has the least silly anime plot devices of them all. Everything is politically driven, empire vs empire shit.

It's one of my faves as well. Characters ultimately are in the backseat for the actual shit that's happening.

12 sucked only cause they tried showing you this political story between empires and gods, but from the eyes of basically a child and while that worked well in the opening moments of the game, half way through you're still wondering if these kids are relevant and nope, they surely are not lmao

Depends on the functionality of the facilities. If the facility gets shut down completely; power/hydro/whatever, it actually becomes illegal for you continue working so you'd become laid off. From a ministry of labor standpoint employees need running water to work inside a building.

This happened to our union shop guys and they had no way to fight it.

Main story empire vs empire and manipulation by divine beings. Side stories, these characters all have issues and losses that stemmed from this conflict, here's how they get over their individual losses.

I have a general farming/wandering chip setup with autoheal, auto item collection, and some other QOL stuff. I have used very few healing items, but I'm only on normal. I decided a little over a year ago, when our daughter was born, that if I want to get through games it's going to have to be on normal from now until she gets old enough to entertain herself completely.
