I decided a little over a year ago, when our daughter was born, that if I want to get through games it's going to have to be on normal from now until she gets old enough to entertain herself completely.

It's been like two weeks or so and I'm only on mission 11 I think in DMC5 playing in SoS mode. The struggle is real.

The new version of 12 is great, especially the versions with the fps cap increased (which was Xbone and PC I think).

Tho it's way way easier then the vanilla/OG Zodiac versions since the game wasn't rebalanced around having access to 2 sets of class skills

Definitely worth it. I remember I played it when it came out during peak FF11 addiction and couldn't get into, then after 11 I picked it up again and loved it.

The remaster is even better cause of the job system.

The game is so stupid easy but progression is so fucking retarded.

You have to find the majority of spells and abilities in the field, not in a shop, so I ended up beating the game with very little magic, and beat the final boss by just turning up the speed to max and letting everyone auto attack with gambit set to auto heal. I left it like that for 10 or so min and came back to a beaten game. A real piece of shit finale but ff12 is more about the journey than the destination lol
