I haven't played an offline game in ages. Debating picking up ff7 tho
imagine buying physical copies in anno domini 2020

tho tbf it's just Switch carts i haven't bought a disc since XB360/PS3 tho tbf i never bought a XB1/PS4
Walmart usually has price drops on Switch games within like a month or two of release, otherwise I haven't fucked with physical releases in at least half a decade.
My high school years, I worked as a night receptionist at a catholic church. The amount of bullshitting I had to do with older people to make them think I was Catholic was stupid. Bitch, just let me do my homework while I listen to my metal music in peace. At least the fathers were cool though. They knew I was atheist and we still had several good discussions about philosophy and life. Youth minister was pretty cool as well as he collected old and rare Atari 2600 games.
I only usually fuck with physical releases with major games like FF7:R.
I bought a physical copy and now it's going to be late, a clown is me

Most Wal-Marts have curbside pick up now which makes it a bit safer.
FF7R is legit boys. The sidequests are not the most imaginative, but they do what they're supposed to do and then some, and they reward you well with character growth.
Also holy shit son dat tifa

i am also enjoying running around the starting area killing weak enemies until my materia is sufficiently leveled
but now i have to go be essential :<
5 hours in, FF7R is a legit-assed game. Gameplay ain't the strongest but it's sure as hell better than FF15.
