Ok Bernard's girlfriend is also a character without without merit.

Fly was the lowest cost of an episode in the whole series, to offset other episodes utilizing more budget, it's the 1 that takes place pretty much entirely in their underground meth lab below the industrial washers.
Season 3, episode 10, about 40 minutes in. Funniest moment of the series.

That episode was THE character definition episode. Walt's ridiculous risk taking over basically nothing because pride. Jesse's lived trauma, his ability to let go, but his inability to stop doing things that cause more trouble and trauma for him. Walt's genuine love for Jesse as a family member (which much like his family, gets run roughshod by his pride).
GODDAMN! It was the episode where Walt reflects on where he should have gotten out, while missing the point that he could have done some serious mending with Jesse about Jane.
The only other time the show really tickled my emotions was with "My name is ASAC Schrader, and you can go fuck yourself... You're the smartest guy I ever met, and you're too stupid to see he made up his mind ten minutes ago."
Fuck ME, season 4 is just straight depressing.
Colvin, Bubbs, Herc, Carver, Prez and those damn kids, Carcetti, even Kima a little bit, the whole Stand By Me gang, just when you think there's gonna be one person this whole season who doesn't get shit on, they squeeze in Bodie and McNulty in the last episode.

the symbolism is a little heavy but Daniels reminiscing on his decent education as the school he got it at is filled with the dead bodies of the young men the school system and the justice system and all the other city's institutions failed is mwah
and this is one of my favorite scenes in the series. Bey may be a piece of shit but he's enough of a father to not stand in the way of his son getting a chance at a better life. Simon has the most pessimistic imaginable view of institutions but he never loses faith in individuals.
Namane getting a shot at a better life is indeed the one bright spot of the season (along with the chance that McNulty has actually turned a corner but I suppose we'll see) but Michael, Randy, Duke...
In a fun piece of trivia I discovered that Jay Landsman, played by Delaney Williams, is based on actual police sergeant Jay Landsman, who plays Lieutenant Williams.

Be me, watching S6 of the clone wars. Hey, this is p good. Get to Ep8...“The Queen will only speak with representative Binks.”
GOD FUCKING DAMN IT
Oh god no...there's more than 1 episode of Jar Jar...pray for Mojo
The Yoda episodes at the end of S6 were the best Ive seen of the series...oh my
3 episodes left.... I'd honestly rather they wrote McNulty out of the show than do what they've done with him in season 5.
