I mean people like that exist everywhere. They can just deal with shitty meals.
You can do food delivery and pickup without getting within 10ft of someone. Tonight I picked up food, popped my rear hatch, and the young lady put my food in there and shut my door. Paid online. Never came close to each other. The supermarket is more dangerous lol.
All the beer I've tried tasted terrible. Can't really say the drink sucks as a whole cuz there's so many goddamn varieties now and I haven't tried em all. Liquor in general is great.
Also the US is buying masks from China meant for France... Murica!
Doesn't even look like they're N95 masks either....

Coronavirus masks that France ordered from China were bought at the last minute by the United States as they waited to be loaded onto cargo planes, French officials have said.
"Americans pay three or four times the amount we pay, and in cash," said Jean Rottner, head of France's eastern region, one of the areas worst affected by the coronavirus outbreak, according to reports by France Info.
On Thursday, a planeload of Chinese-made face masks were bought up right on the tarmac just as the much needed protective gear was about to set off for France.
"We're working around the clock to ensure these masks arrive," says Rottner, blaming unfair competition for delays.
The United States, which now has the highest number of known cases of coronavirus in the world, is trying to procure any masks available, disrupting deliveries to other nations, another report by French daily Liberation indicated.
The east of France nonetheless received 2 million masks from China on Wednesday, to the delight of its president.
"I was very happy to see that airplane arriving in our region last night," Rottner said.
France has ordered more than one billion face masks, a quarter from China, as it battles the pandemic and currently has less than three weeks worth of supplies.

have fun returning all of those masks when it turns out they dont work
How are y'all handling grocery shopping? Really wish we had a deep freezer to store a couple of weeks worth of meats, but smol apt. Local grocery store had an employee outside doing nothing but wipe down shopping carts with sani wipes, so that's nice. I'm still nervous about shopping in general, so trying to get in and out ASAP. I've heard grocery pick up is still limited in most places. Same with delivery.
Also, they started selling distillery made sanitizer here. (Gold paper band on arm is showing I passed screening at work to enter. New color every day)

grocery shopping is probably most individuals' greatest risk of exposure. obviously healthcare workers have a different risk but for many of us who are isolating well the grocery store is the danger zone. it mildly freaks me out
i go less often than weekly nowadays, about once every 10-15 days. shopping is when i'm most diligent about face touching. last time my eyelid itched the whole time cause my body was trolling me, and through great discipline i completed the challenge. i sanitize my hands after loading the car and wash my hands, face, and neck immediately upon returning home.
i'm the only one in the house who shops, and we also don't have a deep freezer though we don't eat that much meat or frozen goods
My stores have been really good about wiping down everything, cleaning, and there are floor distant things all over the place. That said I've been trying to go less because it is the only time I'm "exposed".
Things i do when i go out, not sure if they are best practice/dumb/overboard but it is what i do.
1. The second i get out of the car i put on gloves. At no point while shopping do i ever touch my face.
2. Do my shopping, only take off my glove to grab my card which i have in my hoodie. I don't touch anything but that card and put my glove back on afterwards without touching the outside.
3. Once i put my stuff in the trunk, I open the car door and use the gloves to take them both off, never touching the outside and tossing them in the back seat.
4. Once i get home, it is still cold enough outside that I can leave everything in my car for 24 hours (Still freezing outside so no risk of things going bad).
5. Next day i get them out of the truck, and bring them inside where i still wipe them down with wipes before putting them in their place.
6. Wipe down everything afterwards, again.
stores wiping down surfaces is great and all but ain't nobody wiping down the air (except for its natural dispersion)
hope none of our inhales drink the wrong milkshake and slurp up the novel agent. stay safe all
i will wear my Governor Polis cloth mask next grocery run for sure, if by any case i'm an asymptomatic spreader but i'm under no illusion about its protection of me
Been getting everything delivered. Haven't been outside in 16 days.
Load up a shopping cart, and check a few times a day/night for a delivery slot.

New York saw 630 deaths by the end of yesterday.
My concern with eating out right now is any of the bags could have germs, or they could've touched/breathed on the food (or even spit in it for all you know). The only "meal out" we've had for weeks was Papa Murphy's take 'n bake because at least I could cook it at home at 425* before consuming it.
Also trying to figure out how to do grocery shopping, my local grocery seems to do delivery as well as curbside dropoff so might just do that and wipe everything down before it goes in the fridge/freezer. I'm honestly more worried about eating food from unknown providence than groceries I can wipe down.
For grocery shopping, I just stick to online ordering 2 weeks in advance. Last order 2 weeks ago had alot of items excluded due to panic buying, but today's just had a lot of substitutions that I was okay with.
