I'm not gonna write an essay on it but I want to bring up that a big theme in the original is how no one gets to choose how they die. Every death in the game is super sudden and no one gets last words or heroic death scenes. Zack gets gunned down, Aerith gets stabbed, Cloud's mom, Tifa's dad, Seto, Tseng, President Shinra, Rufus (until AC brought him back), everyone in Sector 7, even the Midgar Zolom, they all get got and that's that. Gotta move on.

NOW we're at a place where both Sephiroth and Aerith know that they're going to die and that's super interesting to see what they're going to do with characters having a chance to avoid their deaths/give them meaning in this story where not being able to do that was a major point.

I guess we still need a couple more days before more is translated, since Ultimania is a big book, but apparently it confirms that the harbingers are Sephs remnants and not CBT.

Saw also a part where they mention about the story and ending: a certain character is alive and that brings a lot of mystery to what will happen. Zack of course comes to mind first, but they might mean whoever

I mean he's slumped against a wall in the Temple of the Ancients bleeding out then you basically make the thing implode and he never gets seen again. But I guess off screen you might have helped him out of there on your way out.

She was pretty cringe at times, but then again so was Aerith. Tifa still the best.

He pretty much hit the nail on the head about the game IMO

I disagreed with him on Death Stranding but still love his videos. The dude has a hard on for anything Mario related, but he's still allowed to like and dislike certain genres. Doesn't make his opinion bad if he doesn't like the game you like.
