Took me this long to discover one of my close friends is actually really slow and it's getting annoying as fuck explaining shit to them all the time.

Lmao you're fine bro.
Y'all think I can get some BGers to watch 1 WNBA game this year?
Maybe do like a watch party on a particular game?
I know, I know, but I think there are some out there who may actually enjoy it and either a. haven't ever bothered or b. watched it when it was new.
Change that to F1 or a Panthers hockey game and you got it

we tried once with euro footy; getting us to watch a WNBA game might be tough
World's smallest violin:
I've been working 6 days a week for months now. This past weekend was the first time I didn't need to work a Saturday or Sunday. I realized how exhausted I really was. I get OT, so the money is good, and there are people that can't hold a job right now so I know I shouldn't complain, but I need a break.
I've got housework to do, I'd like to spend more time with my wife and daughter, and I haven't seen any family outside zoom in months.
Was told last week would be the last of it, but now I'm hearing we're working Saturday again.
employers are abusing the fuck out their employees this past year, taking full advantage of this pandemic shit kinda makes me sick. hear a ton of stuff like that. the new normal at work is to blur all lines between work and life. my wife is really struggling with that right now. they preach a big game about taking time off but never encourage people to take it. they'll let her work 12-14 hour days and she's salary SMH.
I worked Sunday last week, 12 hour days Mon to Wed, training Thursday 4:30pm to 8pm after work, and a full day Friday as one of the last three people on site.
On the plus side, I've convinced my wife to get a new TV that will be able to make full use of the PS5's features. Problem is she wants to wait and see what happens with listing/selling the house which means I'm going to miss the current sales on Sony's outgoing X900s.
You can buy the TV and not open it?
I guess, but then I'm moving/storing a TV. Not sure if we're going to be able to move straight from one house to another or have to do a short term rental.
My work wouldn't let me take time off during the week to get vaccinated. We are short handed was the excuse. I've been working my ass off the entire pandemic often visiting nursing homes, Covid-19 wards, etc.. I luckily got an appointment on the weekend and get my 2nd dose this Saturday.
I don't know but it seems like Capitalism is a pretty poor system in America. Seems like corporations and the free market don't actually know what's best for people.
They know.
But what's best for people (in general), isn't best for them (in particular).
So they don't care.
Mitch was telling corporations to stay out of politics the other day, and fucking LOL'd hard.

Country is overdue for a general strike at this point but with how unemployment and the beginning of the pandemic went, you can't even be sure that would even work.
Brought out my roller blades to start fruit booting again. I haven't fallen yet but I need a fucking helmet.
