A friend of mine lost a freshman tennis match to a kid with Downs syndrome.
I know I am taking this post way too seriously BUT there is an interesting thing about Down's syndrome. Since it is a chromosome disorder, every last downs syndrome person has the exact same difficulties. This means schools have basically a rock solid standard plan on how to teach Down's Syndrome students. So basically, by the time they are older they are pretty much well-put together.
They still tend to have a lower IQ than non-disabled people, but can get jobs, do sports, play music etc. and many end up excelling in certain areas.
