My son is like obsessed with sushi in a way I don’t understand.

Once every few months he asks if we can have sushi…but he never ends up liking it.


I always order it when he asks because I am down for him wanting to try it, but this is the only food he seems to not like but is desperate to like.

He’s 7 btw.

In CA we call that a Philadelphia roll.

Adding mayo somehow to Tuna also seems to be a popular westernization of sushi.

I usually get him the california roll and shrimp tempura roll since those are pretty vanilla in flavor.
