Just so I'm not shitting up the main thread. I think my cuntbag of a mother is already trying to weasel her way into the inheritance by proxy of my dumbass brother who is back on meth.

According to my step mother, almost the minute he walked in the door was demanding copies of stuff like the life insurance policy, trust, etc. Stuff that is important but obviously not #1 on the priority as we haven't found/confirmed yet where my dad is going to be laid to rest. He was also asking her about her opinion on the vacation home, and we think he's trying to dangle it over her head to try to guilt her into continuing the mortgage as I can't afford it and he sure as shit ain't anywhere close to being able to afford it.

I swear death brings out the worst in people.

I'm glad the county is going to divvy up my dad's estate unless someone wants to fork over $10k+ and lawyer fees and the county's go ahead to craft my dad's will.

No, the county won't allow it nor will my brothers be able to afford the retainer + filing fees + court appearances to contest any rulings.

Yeah my brother thinks we can afford to keep the vacation home. Mortgage itself is cheap but we're trying to save up for a house and pay off debt, he's literally not paying any rent living at my dad's mother's house with my dad's brother, and I doubt he realizes how much the yard work my dad contracts out, on top of property taxes, HOA fees, utilities, etc are.

Looks like you should sell it and wash your hands before it turns into a problem you can't sell cause you owe too many people money. If they don't want to sell it, make them pay you out for your share of it. Although I guess this all depends how the will is structured.

Well, looks like my mother obtained her ultimate form and assended to Super Karen 3.

She started screaming at my brother about how the vacation home is going to get foreclosed if my dad's wife is only paying the bills through September and my brother eventually hung up on her.

She texted him saying she was the only one there for him when him and my dad weren't on the best of terms and not speaking three years ago, and now he'll never get to speak to our dad again.
