If someone wants to play a sport, they can just go play it.

If you want to be paid millions of dollars to play said sport, it's entirely reasonable to have expectations of additional duties beyond just showing up to the field/court and then going home.

Like yes if she's says "sorry I'm not feeling it today" the French Open folks should have just given her an "ok that's fine see you tomorrow." But being a professional athlete has expectations/requirements for you to make that money, and if one wants to act like that's some great injustice well maybe they shouldn't be a professional athlete and just hang out at the YMCA or something.
