Fun random fact you probably don't care about: Oklahoma! had two completely different cuts of the film. One version had cameras that were 30 fps and the other cameras did 24 fps. Since the scenes were often filmed with both cameras at the same time, most of the shots are from slightly different angles. And some scenes are more zoomed in/out than the other.

Little weird, as I was watching it on Disney+ and felt something was off and I am 99% sure I must have grown up with the other version of the film than the one they are using.

People who think their departed love ones are sending them messages through shit they see in everyday life. Example, one coworker’s deceased mother loved red robins and had lots of red robin decor in her home. Now whenever he sees a robin he is like “oh mom is saying hi”. Another example. Another coworker had a father that would always pick up pennies. So now whenever she sees a penny she’s like “oh dad is sending me money”. No. You just saw a bird or you just saw a penny. There’s nothing supernatural happening you backwards yokels.

i ain't saying you're wrong from a scientifick perspective but i'd wager such thoughts have little to do with intelligence and if you can't extend empathy towards people believing in the irrational because they need some kind of comfort in the anguish of their bereavement the bigger issue may be with you
