it's not their fault but it was always extremely depressing to see their albums sell x10 what QotSA albums sold

Nickelback sucks.
They made Hero. They’re pretty okay in my book.
i've listened to worse
like anyone that enjoys janis joplin should be shot in the face
Not going to lie, Rockstar Sea Shanty is a guilty pleasure on my Spotify list.
Nickelback is the definition of average in my book. Side of a bullet and Leader of Men are probably the pinnacle of their work. I wouldn't change the radio if they came on, but they aren't a band I'd seek out either.

Songs for the Deaf is the best rock album made in this millennium don't @ me nerds
too bad Oliveri went insane and Grohl went back to leading ok albums
Foo Fighters probably should have called it quits a decade ago. Pearl Jam and Weezer really needed to come to a full stop two decades ago. The Offspring still manage to squeak out a good one every now and then.

there are few bands that have gone from being as solid as Weezer to as truly horrific as they now are
The Red Hot Chili Peppers finally hit their stride with Californication and then were never as good again.
Green Day had one moment of post-90s quality and relevance during the early aughts.
Cornell's dead, Wylan's dead.

Rivers literally writes algorithms to scour Spotify and create trendy songs based on what's popular and then makes the music. Every time I've seen him do something live it looks like be doesn't enjoy what he's doing.
My kid fucking loves Weezer though they have become the new beetle's, kids music.
Foo fighters get a pass because of Dave grohl and how he gives back, their live shows, and bringing kids and stuff on stage.
Pearl jam is the worst thing to happen to our ears since Krakatoa.
especially love the disrespectful spelling of the Beatles
