I think I'm the odd person out but I never understood personality streamers. I would only watch a streamer that I thought could teach me something about a game. So I just can't fathom how the most profitable Twitch streamers are the personalities rather than the pros.

Only thing I'll watch on twitch is actual competitive tournaments or when some kind of big event is broadcast there. Just watching someone play video games and talk to themselves idgi

All my closest friends are four and a half hours away so it helped to feel like I was bullshitting with them like we were kids back in the day. Just kind of took off from there.
