so im watching football on tv, which means im seeing political ads. seen them on YouTube too obviously but it’s been a lot today

is it weird that every ad from republicans has nothing to do with plans or policy? literally every commercial is “democrats bad, so vote Republican.” but then they have zero information on what they’re going to do

the sliwa ads for mayor of NYC are just “we can’t have four more years of deblasio, so vote for me”, but again, zero said about his plans or policy. this may be a bad example because sliwa only cares about publicity

the example ive seen more in nj is jack italianname running against murphy. his ads state “we can’t have more years of biden and murphy” but again, says nothing about what they’ve actually done, and literally nothing about what he plans to do. he vaguely states he’s going to lower property taxes, but says nothing about how

My parents moved to Florida like 2 years ago and still get everything from news to weather reports for jersey. This weekend he's like are you going to watch the debate Tuesday I'm like no probably not, he's like oh it's kind of important don't you want to be able to make a better decision? I'm like, idk that one dude just looks like a cop and not just a cop but like an Elizabeth cop like a very standard I'm a piece of shit lying cops need more power they took all the power from cops cop.

I just don't want him touching that weed bill, I can't stand when politicians try to change things the people voted on. I don't even use it, but when 2/3 of the state voted on something stay the fuck away. You aren't making the best decision for your constituents at that point. I really hate that we vote people in to make decisions for us and they just don't at all. I hate 90 year old to kill a mockingbird fucks making decisions for people under 50.
