P5 Royal is a very easy platinum

And I will not stand for this 7/10 slander from someone who hasn’t finished the game nor has had the temerity to pick a waifu and uwu the story to its conclusion

I did complete it and gave it 7/10. I think imposter both her and P5 thread. I did not enjoy the heavy social aspect to it. Even after the final boss I was given probably 10-15 minutes of the women confidants coming up to me to give me a piece of candy the day after Valentine's day. Another date with the waifu for Valentine's day, another date on white day?????? And talk to every confidant again to get a key item. Every one of these conversations was basically the exact same. "I couldnt have done it with you" here's a weird key item.

The battle system was pretty good. I liked breaking the game with automatic self buffs at the start of combat, plus crit rate up, plus maxed physical persona with triple? damage charge trait and multi hit physical skill that was immune or drained every damage type except ranged.

The grind was simplified by a trait one of the first confidants gets.

The original ending was better than the Royal ending. Royal ending was kinda dumb, but I guess would help explain the conversations happening after you clear the last "traditional" palace.

Anyway, I saw the main parts of the story coming as it was a fairly typical story. The Royal stuff changed it up a little, but nothing too crazy. I ended up skipping through most of the dialogue at the end due to the repetitive nature.

What do I do with a good game? Go to every corner of the map and find everything I possibly can. Which is why I rarely complete them; I spend too much time doing every side activity that I either move on or run out of time.

I'm level 20 in Horizon and haven't progressed the main story past the level 12 quest.

Ghost of Tsushima I've collected asuch of the legendary armors and things as I could and I haven't even attacked the first story fort.

RDR2 I just took off in some direction and never spent any time on the main story. Got a legendary horse, fought so gators, did a heist something? Some bounty hunts...

God of War I didnt do the final Valk or the final fire area trial, but got everything else I could.

I too sometimes go off on a side quest/collecting tangent in open world games and I wish to God I didn’t have this compulsion. Or, I wouldn’t even mind if the devs put up an in game prompt that said something like “yo, more stuff unlocks as you progress the main story/this will be easier later/you will come back here” so I don’t burn myself out. Spiderman was an amazing game but as soon as I saw collectibles pop up I’m like triggered to systematically go collect them all. And then you progress the main story and EVEN MORE pop up in roughly the same areas you traversed to get the previous collectibles. Sigh.

You know the collectables will still be there after you beat the game right?

Doesn’t matter. If I see them pop up on the map I have to clear them, ASAP. Like, pigeons in GTA doesn’t do anything to me because those remain hidden. But if a game map pops up and shows me where the collectible is, I need to clear it.

I am extremely anal about clearing off notifications about emails, texts, social media stuff on my phone as well so this isn’t exclusive to gaming.

i don't let any app send notifications except Messages cause i cannot cope with the default amount of notifications, christ how do people do it

I picked up a pixel 6 over the weekend and yeah one of the first things I did was murder basically every notification on the phone outside of messages/Gmail/phone.

The Google app sending me notifications that random sports teams I don't give a single shit about are getting ready to start? Yeah fuck that noise

It's got some weird oddities to it that I cannot fathom why Google thought it was a good idea (power button and volume button swapping places from every other recent phone design, the search bar that can't be removed from the home screen, and no quick toggle for wifi are the ones I notice the most), but it's a very good phone for the price.

All the hardware is SSS tier at its lower price point compared to the other big boy phones, and other then the power button placement and the gigantic camera hump it's other oddities/issues are software things that could either fixed by Google in an update or handled with a custom ROM or other software

I'm still on a pixel 3, I use Nova Launcher for my home screen. Way more customizable then the base android version. Can use it to nuke the default search bar for example and resize app icons and widgets

You should be able to edit the pull down panel at the top to add/move the wifi toggle.

It's an Android 12 thing. It's a 2 step action to turn off wi-fi now. Agree it's annoying to not have a single press toggle.

It's a bizarre choice from Google, I can't see who would prefer the new implementation over just having the wifi/5G toggle as separate single press buttons.
