I know it's the holiday season now because Starbucks is giving us the chance to flavor our coffee like an alcoholic beverage.

Can't hate though. I really like the Irish Cream Cold Brew.

So glad I can't stand coffee with how expensive those drinks are now for anything more than a basic cup. Only things I get at Starbucks is the occasional cup of hot chocolate or a cinnamon roll for Breakfast at Disneyland.

The Starbucks next to my old office was employed entirely by deaf people. It was always nice to go in there at 6 in the morning to grab something before clocking in. I’m a sucker for their chai latte.

I honestly think the only one in my family who drank coffee regularly was the cunt that is my mother and my nana. Step mom mainly drinks tea, my dad and I were mainly water and diet sodas.

Even then my nana was basic. She was content with a morning cup and after dinner cup of foldgers.

I make my own cold brew by just leaving a nut milk bag full of course grounds in a huge jar of water. If I could recreate the Irish cream components I would do it at home.

Also I'm always going to push getting yourself a proper espresso machine if you can. There's a whole world of exploration out there for coffee, and like wine there's a blend and setup for everyone.
Just like wine tho, don't let anyone make you feel bad about enjoying shitty coffee from a cart, that comes on those shitty paper cups with the lids you have to rip open, that scalds your lips every time you try to take a sip while walking.
I love good coffee so fucking much, but I get a massive hankering for shitty diner coffee and even Starbucks every now and then.

Maybe eventually. I have a nice pour over I use on the Weeknd's when I have more time to go through the motions. I always buy whole bean so the extra steps of grinding, boiling water, and doing the whole pour over thing takes more time than I like in the morning. It's more enjoyable to me if I can sit with the carafe after while i eat my breakfast and keep my coffee topped up and warm
