I know you're just doing your thing but it wasn't as literal as it came off. I could get her absolutely nothing and she'd be just as happy. The onus is on me for not being like "hey she said not to worry about it, but when I was like nah I got you hun she dropped a $5k list saying well this is what I really need, but not like you better get this shit or we're gonna have problems so imma post it like she was dead serious for a laugh."

We went through some tough times over the years, but she's an amazing woman. Her only real expectations of me are to just keep being the father and husband I've been. That's it.

Not recent but this one chick I was kinda seeing/banging years ago, we were in that not really relationship phase but still kinda socially obligated to get each other something for Christmas. Well I knew she was really involved in this local MS Society charity so I made a donation in her name and when she found out about it she called me to arrange a time to fuck right then and there.
