the thing is whenever i see someone laugh at nft anywhere, people show up and are like “you don’t know what you’re talking about, you don’t understand nft, you’re just jealous these people make more money than you”

and like, sure, the people finding gullible people to sell these things to initially are making money, sure

but have any of the people “investing” in buying nfts made anything, because i have yet to see much of that being the case (again, outside of the initial sale to nft morons)

i don't know anyone making money off of nft's but i do have many artist friends who are selling their art through crypto backed platforms and various art/crypto events making quite a bit of money off of their pieces. nft's tho, ya not seen a single soul profiting
