Is there a better way to search food delivery options since every fucking restaurant in existence seems to add delivery as an option when it really means delivery is possible if you want to go through a third party app/website/service?

Know which ones would've delivered pre-pandemic and be prepared accordingly. Most food places since the pandemic began only doing delivery if it's Doordash, grubhub, Ubereats, etc.

Let just warp back in time two years and tell myself a pandemic is about to hit, so I need to prepare accordingly and document who delivers without using a third party.

And no, the ones that delivered pre-pandemic still do in this area without using a third party. Those that didn’t offer delivery had to add it when in person dining was axed to stay afloat. It’d be great if I could filter just those.

Man, 2 years ago I was still recovering from literally almost dying thinking “well, at least this year can’t possibly be any worse.”

I think if I could go back delivery options probably wouldn’t be too high on the list of things I need to prepare for lol.

Oh, I know. It’s just aggravating when you’re locked up cuz you got rona’d and have notoriously HORRIBLE food delivery services in your area.

We tried a few times the past year. Total catastrophe every time. Hence my frustration.

The owner of our favorite Chinese food place came through for us though. She delivered herself even though they don’t do deliveries themselves. Those $20 tips paying off. She threw a ton of free food in as well, so all is well. Now For my MSG induced coma.
