Gas prices have been stupid this month. Fill up at Costco 2 weeks ago - $4.69/gal. Fill up Tuesday - $5.39/gal. Check prices for today - $5.69/gal.
All the other gas stations are at $6.50+/gal and continue to climb. I'm guessing $7+/gal in my neighborhood by the middle of next week.

Prices jumped literally overnight here by .30 last Saturday. I was leaving my 24 hour gym at like 2am Friday night/Saturday morning and passed the gas station and was like meh I'll fill up tomorrow. Then the next day (like 6 hours later) I'm like the fuck happened.
I look forward to the collapse of the oil and gas industry once it's replaced by more affordable alternatives.

Still boggles my fucking mind that they schedule maintenance in california refineries in the middle of hurricane season, then jack our prices up insanely when a hurricane hits, even though our gas can only be refined in California
