Those tax changes almost a decade ago are finally fucking me over. Put my w2s in and was getting back $650, put Wifey's in and now we owe $250.

Not much at all, but I miss the 1k refund days. At least I was able to deduct teacher supplies for us both which brought the total down another $60. Idgaf, I'll nickel and dime Uncle Sam all day for making me pay an app $70 to file this shit

AI animation is improving at such a rapid pace that I predict we are ten years out, at the most, from being able to insert yourself into any porn with any person you can think of. Celebrities will be the first obviously and they will use their money to try to stop their image and likeness from being used, but they won’t be able to. Even less protected will be your average every day person. In an increasing social media and digital age there will be enough to create an AI porn of your neighbor, that bartender you like, the woman you see on the train occasionally, your kids’ school teacher. It will all be there. It will be open to all kinks and fetishes, and yes, there will be a dirty underground of underage AI porn. Cyber crime divisions will be increasingly taxed as the gap between real and photorealistic AI animations closes to nil. It’s gonna be straight out of Cyberpunk 2077 with illicit vid makers. But once they hit a dry spell with porn they will move on to other depravities like making snuff films or grand fantastical adventures. The next step will be moving from beyond AI animations to fully rendered interactive environments using your physical body. My conclusion is that within 100 years we will have a Star Trek-like holodeck for real. Getting there however will be very ugly and depraved and humanity might end up losing a good chunk of our souls to get there.

So my idiot brother, from about two years before my dad's death till probably still now is insisting his ex wife has been making deep fake porn and using family members and homes in it.
