Rule is rarely upheld today by reform and even most conservative Jews.

The wording of the commandment calls for no "boiling the meat of the Calf in the milk of the mother," because that's considered cruel.

Beef cows and dairy cows aren't even the same herds these days.

Not to mention all the other meats you can put cheese on.

More orthodox Jews try to make the rule say something it doesn't but by its own wording it is 0% applicable in today's world.
