I've never been this sick in my fucking adult life and thats including when I had Covid twice. Almost had to go to the ER after having just under 104 fever for 8 hours , since Wednesday fever steadily rose.
Fever broke after trying some motrin vs nyquil. But still feel some shortness of breath , excessive fatigue and some chest and breathing tightness and migraine level heqd pain.. Of course this shit happens right after I start a new job less than a month ago.

The flu shot this year whooped me and my wife. I was totally out of commish for like 36 hours. Wife was toast for 2 whole days. Why the fuck do we even bother.

Covid booster didn’t even do anything this time around though.

On another note, Kissinger is dead, Santos got expelled from Congress and my wife doesn’t have to go to Boston for jury duty next week. I’m having a whiskey.

I got hit hard with something my kids brought home from school, weird illness - just body aches and chills/sweating - no head cold stuff or coughing at all. Still, felt absolutely miserable last night and this morning, think it's getting a bit better now.

This is EXACTLY what I've been dealing with. Except a lot of shortness of breath, but do have mild to moderate asthma. Inhalers aren't doing shit. I've lost almost 11lbs since Monday due to not being able to eat more than a few bites a day.
Fever came back and is almost 103 again so waiting on a call from my doctor now.
Just walking from my car to the stairs of my place with is maybe 600ft has my chest hurting.

Yeah doctor is fairly confident it's the flu, even without coughing or sneezing , just never not had that with the flu. Also said there's been a huge uptick the last few weeks.

I've been sick since Wednesday and totally over it ugh. She recommended Tylenol/Motrin alternating every 4 hours to help control fever so here's hoping..

Probably over the last ten years or so both my elderly parents have made explicit they do not want any autopsy or embalming and just want to immediately be cremated and I’m fine with that. The more I watch videos from funeral directors about the embalming process (which are very educational and matter of fact), I’m making sure expedited cremation is my personal choice as well. I’m thankful for all the informative videos but the whole process just gives me the ick.

people not getting cremated is pretty shitty. just fuckin burn em and throw the ashes in the ocean. quit wasting so much space on fuckin cemeteries.
